A Paradise Called Geger Beach

Bali has so many beaches all over the island. We usually know Kuta beach or Sanur. The both names are the most popular beaches in Bali and have more than a hundred tourists come every day. But do you know that Bali has other beach that worth to visit? The beach is called Geger beach. It may not be as famous as Kuta, but it surely guarantees you with a brand new experience that the popular beach can give. Geger beach is located in Nusa Dua. The beach has clean and turquoise sea which is very quite that you almost feel you have a private beach of your own. Geger beach is mostly known by foreign tourists, most of them are the newlywed who comes to spend their honeymoon. What makes it different from the famous Kuta beach is it can give you peace and relax while Kuta is always full of tourists that you can barely enjoy your vacation. Because there’s not too many tourists come every day, Geger beach is till clean and comfortable. Once you arrive at the beach, the beautiful turquoise sea will give you warm greeting. The light brown sand will make you want to have more and more time at the beach.

What to do in Geger Beach?

There are plenty of activities you can carry on Geger. Swimming in the calm sea, lying on the white sands, is probably the things you want to do the most to experience the greatest nature gift of the beach. Surfing on the wave, enjoying the sunset, riding on a camel is also worth to try there. Otherwise, if you want to look at the beauty of landscape in Nusa Dua, you’d better go up the hill where you can find a temple called Geger temple. The beauty of Geger is also can be the place where you take pre-wedding photos. You certainly will get the best pre-wedding photos at Geger beach.

Best Time to go to Geger Beach

If you want to get full experience in Geger beach, then you have to go there during weekdays since weekend is certainly the most favorite time to go on vacation. Whether you go there in wet season or dry season, is okay since the beach is located on the east of Bukit. Geger beach is the right choice if you don’t really like sea activities. The beach is very suitable with a young couple who want to spend time with their kids. However, if you’re looking for a more Balinese atmosphere, then this beach probably not good enough for you since many people consider it to be more like Southern France.
